Thetford: Arrest made after addresses linked to asylum seekers shared amid anti-migrant disorder

  • Tensions in the area escalated after the Home Office submitted plans to convert nearby RAF Barnham into accommodation for up to 1,250 asylum seekers.
  • South West Norfolk MP Terry Jermy condemned the terrifying scenes, which resulted in police officers being assaulted and several arrests.
