These are the DHS officer-involved shootings in Trump's second term

There have been at least seven officer-involved shootings, two of them fatal, since President Trump surged Homeland Security agents in city-by-city operations in early 2025.

The big picture: ICE's presence isn't welcomed in some of the cities where it's operating. Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey said ICE agents should "get the f*ck out" on Wednesday after an ICE officer fatally shot a woman in the city.
