Jenny Han has one request for The Summer I Turned Pretty fans

The author of The Summer I Turned Pretty has issued a plea to fans to stop turning up to the set of the movie spinoff, asking them to “protect our process”.

Jenny Han wrote the trilogy of books on which the hugely successful Amazon Prime TV series was based, and a movie is in development based on the same characters - Conrad, played by Christopher Briney, Belly, played by Lola Tung and Gavin Casalegno’s Jeremiah - with eager fans regularly trying to obtain details of the film’s plot by turning up to the set in North Carolina.
