As temperatures fall and energy bills rise, hundreds of 'warm hubs' are opening across Greater Manchester as a lifeline for those in need.
The spaces are intended as a place of warmth and sanctuary for people who may not be able afford to put their heating on this winter.
Many public libraries have been made available as 'warm hubs' and ' neighbourhood living room hubs ' providing a welcoming atmosphere with Wi-Fi. Charities and community hubs are also providing heated spaces where people can go to stay warm and grab a free tea or coffee.
