Alex Jones has shared stunning pictures of her most recent mini-break with her family. The One Show presenter enjoyed a few days away in north Wales, visiting places such as Beddgelert, Portmeirion Village and Betws-Y-Coed.
The Welsh host, who hails from Ammanford, shared a series of snaps with her 339k Instagram followers as she enjoyed the outdoors. During her stay, the 45-year-old, who shares Teddy, 5, Kit, 3, and one-year-old Annie with her husband Charlie Thomson, enjoyed walks, sightseeing and even an autumnal dip in the sea.
Alex revealed her most special memory, however, was a train ride to the top of Snowdon. Sharing a windswept picture of herself holding her daughter, Alex wrote: "Me and my girl on the top of the world yesterday. Thank you @snowdonmountainrailway for an experience we won't forget!"

Alex also shared snaps of her children's grandparents enjoying the train ride, adding: "Granny and grandpa loved it!" Before heading home, Alex admitted she was "very sad to be leaving the place" as she shared a string of beautiful photographs on her Instagram story.
In one, a fresh-faced Alex shared a selfie while her two sons splashed in the waves. Following the trip, Alex was straight back to work on BBC's The One show.
"And just like that it was time to get back to work," she shared. "Feeling a bit dazed after a 5.5 hour drive but on my way and I'll see you doon on @bbcone with @craigreveal at 7pm." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
