It’s been a badly kept secret that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 would be ending on September 18, but now we finally have official confirmation. Not only that, but we now know the name of the season and a teaser hinting at what the theme might be. This makes it an exciting time for any Fortnite fan, as new seasons bring with them changes to the map, new weapons, events, and Battle Pass items.
We’re going to give you a rundown of everything we know so far, and what it could mean for the future of Fortnite.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 theme
This season is going to be called Paradise, which might make it seem quite similar to the previous season’s Vibin’ name. However, a look at the teaser trailers that have been released suggests this might be more of an ironic title. These teasers, which can be found on the Fortnite News Twitter account show seemingly mundane scenarios that are slowly taken over by this chrome slime that quickly hardens. We see it consume a tomato plant and ruin a bowl of cereal.
The true nature of this weird goo remains to be seen, but it’s certainly an unsettling theme following the all-out party of the previous season. It makes some sense though, as this season will run right through Halloween, something a little spookier is welcome for this time of year. Speaking of which, it was recently leaked that this Fortnite season will run into December, ending just in time for the holidays.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 Battle Pass
No official details have been announced about this season’s Battle Pass yet, but a few leaks have suggested that it will have a heavy Marvel theme. It was revealed by HYPEX on Twitter that Spider-Gwen from Into the Spiderverse is one of the major skins that’ll be on it, and a supposedly leaked trailer from a couple of months ago suggested that other Marvel skins, like Iron Man, may be included too.
