Hi there, it's Tuesday, July 5. Here's what you need to get going today.
Let's start here
- At least six people are dead and dozens are injured after a rooftop gunman opened fire at a 4th of July parade in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park
- Police recovered a rifle at the scene but say the gunman, who is believed to be a white male between the age of 18 and 20, is still at large
- Witness Jeff Leon told CNN the noise of the gunshots "sounded like a string of about 20 firecrackers being let off inside of your metal garbage bin"
