Excitement is building as the Leeds Festival gets under-way in just over a week. Thousands of music fans are expected to attend the event at Bramham Park across the bank holiday weekend - from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 August.
The festival has already suffered a blow, however, after it emerged that headliners Rage Against the Machine had to drop out. The LA rockers - famous for songs including Killing in the Name - were forced to cancel all their European dates this year after frontman Zack de la Rocha was given doctor’s orders to rest up at home.
Eurovision winners Måneskin - the Italian rock band - have also dropped out due to an 'unforeseen scheduling conflict'. They are instead set to perform at the MTV video music awards show at the Prudential Center in New Jersey on Sunday 28 August - which clashes with the Leeds Festival.
