The Chase host Bradley Walsh confused by contestant who said she signed up for different show

The Chase's Bradley Walsh was left scratching his head after one contestant said she thought she would be appearing on ITV's Tipping Point instead.

On Monday's episode of the show Patrick, Kerry, Meg and Drew took on Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha with the hopes of taking home the cash prize.

First contestant Patrick managed to bring back £4000 to the team and when retired nurse Kerry took to the table, she had the audience in stitches of laughter after she revealed she would rather be getting quizzed on a different ITV game show instead.

When Brad asked how she was feeling about taking on the Chaser, Kerry admitted: "I'm feeling a bit out of my depth because I thought I was going to be on Tipping Point. I was expecting to meet Ben Shephard. It's not that I'm disappointed, it's just, have you seen Ben Shephard?"

Bradley was shocked by her admission, saying: "I'm not Ben Shephard. More like a German Shepherd."

Kerry managed to secure £7000 in the cash builder and made it back to the final chase. Paul told Kerry that he wished she did appear on Tipping Point as she looked like she might do well in the final chase.

Contestant Drew made it back safely too and the team of three answered 17 questions correctly, however they missed out on the £18,000 as they were caught with 19 seconds remaining.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on STV.
