The Boston Celtics suffered what is probably their worst loss of the 2023-24 NBA season, falling to the Los Angeles Lakers 114-95 at TD Garden this past Thursday night. That it happened with a healthy Celtics squad taking on a Lakers team down two starters in LeBron James and Anthony Davis at the start of the game and Jarred Vanderbilt by the end makes it all the worse.
The Celtics were disengaged and non-energetic from the start, and could not find their way to defending at a high level against the Lakers, disappointing fans further after watching Los Angeles nix their two biggest stars before the game even started.
The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast weighed in on the rough loss for the Celtics.
