This fall, Texas students are receiving a serious message: If you see or hear a threat, do not share it and do not ignore it. Report it.
The message comes from the Texas School Safety Center’s new “Threats Are No Joke” campaign, created for students in grades four through 12. It reflects an important truth. Students are often among the first people to see a troubling post, hear an alarming comment, or notice that something about a classmate’s behavior has changed.
