C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans pulled off a stunner after almost giving away a victory.
Matt Ammendola, who was elevated to the Texans’ roster on Saturday, kicked a 38-yard field goal to give Houston a 30-27 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals trailed 27-17 in the fourth quarter but scored 10 straight points to tie the game.
The Houston defense stiffened when it appeared Cincinnati was going in for a touchdown that could have given the Bengals the lead.
After the Bengals got an Evan McPherson field goal to tie the game at 27, Stroud led a 6-play, 55-yard drive that culminated with Ammendola’s field goal.
The Bengals and Ravens both are 5-4, which is surprising for both teams.
Houston just went into Cincinnati and beat one of the hottest teams in the NFL without:
– Their leading WR
– Their leading rusher
– Their leading tackler
– starting safety
– kicker https://t.co/3Vwxy6XY8O— James Palmer (@JamesPalmerTV) November 12, 2023
