Terrell Davis, 51, looks like he could still play for the Broncos today

Terrell Davis was forced to walk away from professional football 22 years ago due to knee injuries, but the 51-year-old Pro Football Hall of Famer looks like he could still suit up and play today.

In a video produced by the Denver Broncos, Davis and NFL Network’s James Palmer check out the team’s new uniforms and break out their own combinations. Palmer goes with an orange jersey and orange pants with the team’s standard blue helmet on a mannequin.

For his uniform combination, Davis had “a better idea” than using the mannequin and he left the room to later return in full uniform — with cleats and all. Davis picked the team’s alternate blue jersey with an alternate white helmet. You can see him rocking the look beginning at the 2:54 mark in this video:

A two-time Super Bowl champion, NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP, Davis is still in great shape and he makes the uniform look great.

Davis putting on the uniform was the highlight of the “Salute to Broncos Country” video, but the most interesting nugget involved the team’s uniform schedule. Denver has already announced which jerseys it will wear each week. The video revealed that players will pick pants and sock colors each week. The team’s captains will make the decision on a game-by-game basis.

The Broncos will debut their new white jerseys with white pants when they face the Indianapolis Colts in their preseason opener today.
