An 18-year-old man has been reported by police to prosecutors after identifying himself as the motorist allegedly responsible for running down another man in Glasgow on Saturday.
The teenager made himself known to cops investigating an incident on High Street in the city centre at around 3.30pm on September 3. Multiple ambulances, including rapid response paramedics, and police vehicles descended on the scene and a cordon was established around a grey BMW, which investigators were seen examining.
Police confirmed a 36-year-old man was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary following the incident. The severity of his injuries and his current condition remain unknown.
