A teenager died after falling from a cliff in the South West on Friday (May 19). The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCGA) was called to the incident in the South Hams, Devon, at around 3.45pm.
Rescue teams from Bigbury and Kingsbridge rushed to the scene near Hope Cove. They were joined by an Independent Rescue Boat and Coastguard helicopter, as well as paramedics and police officers.
As reported by Devon Live, it was confirmed yesterday (May 20) that an 18-year-old was confirmed dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious and her next of kin have been informed.

Devon and Cornwall Police said in a statement: "Police were informed by the Coastguard at around 4.40pm yesterday [19 May] that the body of a woman had been recovered from the beach near Hope Cove.
"An 18-year-old woman was reported to have fallen from the cliff and was confirmed deceased at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and enquiries are continuing."
