A teenager and a man were held in custody after a gang broke into a home and attacked a person inside.
Just after 1.10am on Thursday, June 29, officers received reports of a disturbance on Montrose Court in Chester. A gang of men had reportedly broke into an address on the road before attacking somebody inside.
The victim suffered minor injuries during the incident. A teenager and a 32-year-old man from Liverpool were arrested shortly after the incident on suspicion of aggravated burglary and possession of an offensive weapon, a Taser.

Dale Williams, 32, of Blackburn Place, Liverpool City Centre and the 17-year-old, who can't be named for legal reasons, have now been charged with affray, being in possession of a weapon, namely an electrical incapacitation device, and being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.
They have been remanded in custody and will appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday, June 30.
Detective Sergeant Paul Davis said: “We understand the concern this is likely to have caused, but we would like to reassure the community that this is an isolated incident.
