BTS were met by a screaming crowd of an estimated 50,000 fans in Mexico on Wednesday (6 May) ahead of their upcoming concerts.
The popular South Korean band waved from the balcony of the National Palace. They were joined by Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum as they greeted cheering supporters who filled the square.
Kim Nam-joon, known as RM, said he was looking forward to the group’s sold-out shows in the Mexican capital.
The Mexican president's office said the appearance drew some 50,000 people within hours, some of whom were seen crying as the band greeted them.
