Taylor Swift is risking reigniting her past feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West by releasing a diss track about the ex-couple.
The 32-year-old singer has a well documented frosty relationship with 45-year-old Kanye which was ignited back in 2009 when he interrupted her MTV VMA award acceptance speech to declare Beyonce deserved the gong more.
Things escalated over the years, with 41-year-old Kim - who was married to Kanye from 2014 until 2022 - wading into the argument as she sided with her then-husband.
Kanye made reference to Taylor in one of his own songs - but when Taylor claimed she had no idea he was going to discuss her in a song, Kim leaked a recording of the pair discussing the track together.
While things have cooled more recently, fury could be unleashed anew as Taylor is preparing to release a five-year-old track which she previously shelved.
The Sun claims that Taylor will include a song on the re-issue of her 2017 album Reputation which takes aim at Kim and Kanye.
And to add insult to injury, Drake will also be included on the track - which was previously not released over fears it was too vicious.
A source told the publication: “Taylor has pivoted her focus to re-recording Reputation and she has come across this song she made with Drake, which never saw the light of day.
“She knows that everyone is going to think it is about Kimye because it was her row with them which inspired a lot of Reputation.
“But this one is far more direct than the other songs, which was why they didn’t decide to release it in the first place.”
The source went on to highlight the fact that Drake also has a past frosty relationship with Kanye – with the pair clashing in the past.
And they added: “Obviously she is totally over the whole thing now but this is one which fans will want to hear.”
Taylor is re-recording her Reputation album - as well as her first five albums - due to another feud.
She was distraught to learn that music producer Scooter Braun had bought the rights to her first six albums, seemingly without her knowledge.
In order to regain the tunes, she has been re-recording the albums, along with other tracks that she recorded at the time, but didn’t release, so that she can perform them without proceeds needing to be issued to Scooter.
As well as re-issuing old tunes, the star has been hard at work writing a brand new album, titled Midnights, which is due to be unleashed this month.
