Manchester City's Kevin de Bruyne has been crowned the 2021/22 Premier League EA Sports Player of the Season.
City's Belgian maestro pipped the likes of Mohamed Salah and Son Heung-min to the award, making him only the fourth player to win the prize more than once in his career.
De Bruyne, who last won the prize in 2019/20, has enjoyed a superb campaign which has helped put City on the cusp of winning a fourth Premier League title in five years.
In 29 appearances this term De Bruyne has scored 15 goals - the highest return of his City career - and provided seven assists. A number of his goals directly earned City points in big games, including strikes against Chelsea and Liverpool.

The news comes hours after Phil Foden was named as the EA Sports Young Player of the season. Both prizes were decided by a mixture of votes from fans, club captains and experts.
It's fair to say that City fans on Twitter are pretty happy that Kev has received further recognition of his incredible talents.
