Swansea Street Food Festival is returning to the city for four days and this is what will be there

Swansea Street Food Festival is officially returning later this year, it has been announced. Taking place once again at Museum Park from Friday, April 7 to Monday, April 10, it will feature 30 top street food traders from across Wales and the UK.

The event, which is being billed as "four days of foodie heaven", is now into its fifth year, and the 2023 festival will feature more traders than ever before, an entertainment stage with live music and fun for all the family. A spokesman for Street Food Warehouse, which runs street food festivals across Wales and the South West, said: “Swansea Street Food Festival is our biggest and most loved festival. The support we’ve received from every guest year on year is why we love coming back. Street food traders from all across the UK apply trying to gain a space to trade in Swansea.

"It’s become a ‘go to’ event for traders in the street food scene and we can see why. At last year's festival we sold over 20,000 tickets and people had a great time. This year we’re ramping things up with more top class traders and a live music stage so you can enjoy some fantastic food and have a boogie. We are excited to return to Swansea for four days over Easter weekend and think this year is going to be our best yet!"

To date, the festival has announced three top food traders who will be attending this year's event. They include ‘Little Marrakech’, which has attended every Swansea Street Food Festival so far, serving quality Moroccan dishes like their giant Shawarma. Next, from Birmingham’s famous Digbeth Dining Club, burger trader Strip Club Street Food will be at the festival and will be looking to offer burgers stacked 10 high. Finally, dessert lovers will be pleased to hear Churros Hermanos will be on hand to serve their delicious thick white, milk and dark chocolate sauce churros.

The event will begin on Friday, April 7 and end on Monday, April 10. It will take place daily between 11am and 11pm. Tickets are free, and can be found here. There are also queue jump tickets - which include a can of Fourpure beer for just £4 - and VIP tickets available.
