Swansea City have been dealt an injury blow ahead of Saturday’s clash with Nottingham Forest.
The Reds host boss Steve Cooper’s former club at the City Ground this weekend. And there is plenty riding on the game as the Championship season comes towards a close.
Forest are gunning for promotion to the Premier League. Having already secured a top-six finish, they could yet pinch second place from Bournemouth.

The play-offs are out of reach for the Swans, but they will still be looking to end the campaign in style. Coming up against their old manager - and no doubt eager to put right the 4-1 drubbing in the reverse fixture - they go into the game unbeaten in nine.
The visitors will be without defender Ben Cabango against the Reds, however. The centre-back suffered an ankle ligament injury in Tuesday’s 3-3 draw with the Cherries and has been ruled out of Swansea’s final two matches.
“Unfortunately, Ben is done for the season,” boss Russell Martin told WalesOnline. “He had a scan on Wednesday and it is not good news for us, or for Wales. He is out for the summer.
“He will be back with us for pre-season, although he might miss the first week or two. He will go to see a specialist on Tuesday.
“It’s an ankle injury and I don’t know how he played on with the extent of the injury. He has been outstanding and improved so much and was in a great place.
“It will be tough for him to miss out this summer because of what is at stake for Wales. It’s a blow for him, for us and for Wales, but he has to make sure he rests and recuperates and comes back fit and firing.”
WalesOnline report Manchester City loanee Finley Burns is expected to come back into Swansea’s matchday squad at the City Ground. He has made three appearances since joining the club in January.
