Russell Martin says tying down in-form duo Ryan Manning and Joel Latibeaudiere is Swansea City's key priority ahead of the January transfer window.
The fine form of both players has been a big factor in Swansea's impressive start to the season, with Martin's men currently one point away from the top six heading into the weekend.
But the pair are currently contracted until the end of the season, and their respective strong form has only pushed their future in SA1 further under the microscope.
It's a situation Martin admits he's keen to resolve as a matter of urgency. Speaking ahead of their trip to Wigan Athletic on Saturday, he said: “I think the onus is on us to get it done (with Ryan).
“It’s not my area to get it sorted but the owners know how I feel. Josh (Marsh, head of football operations) and Julian (Winter, chief executive) feel the same as me, that we need to get it done.
“It’s the same with Joel Latibeaudiere. They are the two most important bits of business we need to get done before we talk about January or my own contract, the most important thing is to sign those two boys and I hope we get it done pretty soon.
"We have a group of players we have an opportunity to build with, who are so young and so brave, and such amazing people personality-wise.
“The two of them should be a huge part of what the club want to build in terms of their profile, their character and what they produce on the pitch. Lets hope we get it sorted as quickly as possible.”

Meanwhile, former Manchester City starlet Latibeaudiere has confirmed that talks between the club and his representatives are ongoing, and he admits he's keen to stay at SA1.
"It's a great club," he said "I really like it here and I love working with the manager and the staff. I love Swansea as a place. It's really nice and the fans are great.
"So, I'd love to stay here. I'm playing well and happy in my game. The team's on a really good run, but I'm not really focused on it at the minute," he said when quizzed on the latest ahead of the clash with the Latics.
"Julian and my agent are always talking. It's been going on from the start of the season, so hopefully we can all come to an agreement soon."
