Strictly star Neil Jones has urged Lewis Capaldi to come on the show as a same sex contestant after admitting he was his ideal dancing partner.
Neil is an adopted Scot with his fiery red hair and told the Sunday Mail his dad now lives here.
And he reckons West Lothian-born Lewis could go all the way to the top of the competition with him and some nifty dance moves.
Neil, who doesn’t have a dance partner this year but has been joining in the group dances, said: “I love Lewis Capaldi. He’d be ideal as a partner and we could do a same sex dance on the show.
“I’ve already danced with Judy Murray and she was brilliant. With Lewis, we’d come up with some magic – as long as he’s not in his pants.”
Capaldi is no stranger to the show, having performed his hit Someone You Loved on the first results show of the 2019 series.
In an interview with the Sunday Mail, Neil said he loves coming to Scotland and has an even bigger excuse to visit. He said: “My dad lives up in Scotland and I love wearing a kilt.”
