Strictly Come Dancing star Neil Jones has revealed that he would love a role in Magic Mike if he followed his co-star Oti Mabuse and left the show.
The favourite red-head Strictly pro has been part of the show since 2016 but hinted he’s looking to other things as he admitted there’s other shows he’d “love” to be involved in.
Neil, 40, was asked by Heat magazine if he would move to another show like Oti did, and Neil said: “I really enjoy being part of kids’ TV like Saturday Mash Up.”
And in a huge swing in a very different direction, Neil went on to admit: “I’ve always said I’ve love to be a part of Magic Mike.”
He was then asked if he’s not afraid to get his kit off, to which the dancer replied: “Not fully! Just my top. I love the movie, the soundtrack, and the dancing. Maybe for movie night I’ll get to showcase it…”
Strictly pros Oti Mabuse and Aljaž Škorjanec will not be returning to the show this year.
Oti announced she was leaving the show back in February after seven years as a professional dancer.
The performer joined the show in 2015 and went on to become the only pro dancer to ever win the series two years in a row.
Aljaž announced he was also quitting the show after nine years as a pro dancer.
The star, who competed with Dragon's Den's Sara Davies last year, admitted he made the decision that 2021 would be his last appearance “some time ago”.
Neil Jones’ schedule is set to get very but once training and rehearsals for the BBC dance show begin next month.
But ahead of his return to the show, Neil has been spending time getting to know his new love interest Chyna Mills.
The professional dancer was seen holding hands with the Love Island bombshell, 23, as they enjoyed a couple of days in Paris on a romantic break in the 'City of Love' last week.
It has been reported the pair were staying in the four-star Dadou Hotel in the French hotel, which is a boutique hotel close to Place Charles De Gaulle after arriving in Paris by Eurostar.
An onlooker in the city told The Sun : “Neil and Chyna looked very loved up and completely relaxed in one another’s company.
“Paris is the perfect city for a romantic weekend and they both looked delighted to be there".
They added the Strictly star "probably wanted to do something special" as it is a "new relationship" and their time together would soon be limited once training and rehearsals start.
Neil has not had a serious relationship since his time with Luisa Eusse, a South American dancer, ended two years ago.
Prior to that he was married to Katya Jones. The couple wed in 2013 and were married for six years before announcing their split in 2019.
Their split was thought to be the result of the infamous Strictly Curse after Katya was involved in a kissing scandal with 2018 Strictly partner Seann Walsh.
However, Katya and Neil have both insisted it wasn't why their marriage ended.
Chyna is fresh from Love Island, where she didn't find her perfect partner after entering the villa as one of the recent series' Casa Amor bombshells.
She had partnered with Jay Younger at the time but romantic feelings were not stirred and Chyna flew home.
There had been rumours sparked she had hooked up with Neil after they were photographed leaving the after party of the Reality TV Awards in Chelsea.
