Pregnant women should ignore Donald Trump’s claims about paracetamol use being linked to autism, Health Secretary Wes Streeting has said.
The US president warned of a “meteoric rise” in cases of autism and he suggested Tylenol – what paracetemol is called in America– being taken by expectant mother’s is a potential cause.
