Piers Morgan was for once lost for words when Stormy Daniels told him her audience used to be 'men like you'.
The porn star spoke to the TalkTV host in her first interview since former US president Donald Trump made an unprecedented court appearance on Tuesday.
But Piers, 58, didn't know what to stay when she claimed he fitted her usual demographic perfectly.
The 44-year-old was being interviewed after becoming a central figure in the alleged hush money payments that led to 34 criminal charges being brought against Trump.
She says her fan base shifted five years ago following stories she had been involved with the tycoon back in 2006.
Trump was in court to face arraignment for 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Stormy says things just totally changed back in 2018 - and it left Piers silent.
“I was dancing in strip clubs, which I had always done but it used to be that I’d go on stage and most of the audience would be white guys in suits – very much like you,” she told the host, who stayed quiet.
“And then suddenly overnight I walked out on stage and all of those guys were gone and it’s gay men and trans people and women, a lot of women.
“Just this whole other crowd and dynamic.”
She emphatically said in their sit down that it feels as though "the king has been dethroned".
She told the ex Good Morning Britain presenter: "Part of me was finally like he had to go in and be under the rules of someone else. He has to obey the judge and walk through like… the King has been dethroned.
"He’s no longer untouchable. And nobody should be untouchable."
She continued: "It doesn’t matter what your job description is - whether you’re the President, you should be held responsible for your actions. But the other side of it was like this is someone that our country elected and chose. Was there no better option?"
And she confessed she would love to see Trump spend time behind bars, but insisted it might not happen due to her case alone.
Piers asked her on her thoughts about potential jail time and she replied: "Specific to my case, I don’t think that his crimes against me are worthy of incarceration."
However, she added: "I feel like the other things that he has done, if he is found guilty, absolutely, because a bigger problem is that if these allegations against him or whatever else that we don’t yet.
"He is found guilty or the evidence suggests that he is or whatever, and he doesn’t, that it’s going to just basically, I mean it opens the door for other people to think they can get away with doing that and worse."
