There is still time to enter awards celebrating the best firms and entrepreneurs in the Swansea Bay City Region. The longstanding and influential Swansea Bay Business Awards will again showcase excellence in business success across the region, which covers the local authority areas of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Neath Port Talbot and Swansea.
The region is home to some of the most dynamic and successful firms not just in Wales, but the UK - from high-growth start-ups to established corporates. The 2022 awards cover 13 categories, including best start-up and entrepreneur of year awards.
To enter the awards, which have 13 categories, click here. The deadline for entries is August 12th. The winners will be revealed at an awards dinner at Swansea’s Brangwyn Hall on September 15th.

The awards also recognise individual talent, whether an established entrepreneur or someone who has recently embarked on an entrepreneurial journey.
“The awards also remind us that the region is a great place to live, work and do business. They toast success, celebrate achievement and highlight successful and innovative businesses doing great things.”
Last year the overall company of the year award, went to Talbot-based precision temperature instrument manufacturer Rototherm Group, which during the pandemic also became a key supplier of personal protective equipment to support the NHS and social care staff - creating hundreds of new jobs in the process.
Chief executive of Swansea Building Society, Alun Williams, also received a lifetime contribution award in recognition of his astute leadership of the mutual over the last 20-years, which has seen it establishing itself as the most profitable, in relation to its assets base, building society the UK.
