Dier's message to Romero
Eric Dier won't have been backed by many to open the scoring for Spurs this season. The defender has only bagged 12 goals in over 300 league games and with the strength of Antonio Conte's attack, he doesn't stand out as a natural goal-scorer.
After scoring, Dier was mobbed by most, but Cristian Romero took a different approach, instead choosing to show his love for the defensive partner in a strange way.

Zaniolo approach altered
Spurs have looked for a creative way to sign Nicolo Zaniolo this summer, according to the Times.
Fabio Paratici is believed to have been in Italy several times over the last months in the attempt to lure the Roma star to London, but so far it hasn't worked.
Jose Mourinho is remaining stubborn with his player and isn't willing to let him go for cheap. This has reportedly seen Spurs try to sign the Italian on a season-long loan with a £20m option to buy, but it has been turned down.
