Steelers WR George Pickens claims it’s easier to play on a short week

I almost said that everyone agrees that Thursday Night Football is a terrible thing. But I guess I can’t say everyone because I guess Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens is the exception. Pittsburgh is preparing to take on the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night and Pickens says it’s a good thing that Pittsburgh gets to get right back after it after a loss.

The Steelers lost 20-10 to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in a game that saw Pickens only get one catch for 22 yards. It did happen to be for a touchdown but nevertheless, it was a serious down performance based on what he had done in the previous weeks.

The Steelers still aren’t clear if they will have quarterback Kenny Pickett or not. Pickett suffered a rib injury in Sunday’s loss and despite him saying he plans to play against the Titans, it isn’t clear if the team will share his opinion.
