Steelers welcome Georgia OT Broderick Jones for a pre-draft visit

On Monday, the Pittsburgh Steelers welcomed in two more prospects in for a visit ahead of the 2023 NFL draft. One of those is former Georgia offensive tackle Broderick Jones.

Jones is one of the three big offensive tackles in this draft among the top-tier and rock-solid first-round prospects. Jones is an elite athletic blocker who plays every play through the whistle. He is a natural left tackle and would be an immediate starter for the Steelers in place of Dan Moore Jr.

If Jones is in the draft plans of the Steelers, the team might need to trade up to get him. Jones, also with Peter Skoronski and Paris Johnson Jr. are the best offensive linemen in this draft which makes him valuable by default.

Personally, if Jones is on the board for the Steelers at 17, the team should run, not walk to the podium and put that pick in.
