After watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play last week, it is hard to be bold this week with any level of confidence. Pittsburgh went out and stunk up Acrisure Stadium and now has to find a way to get back on track at home against the Cleveland Browns.
Here are our four boldish predictions for this week:
George Pickens tops 100 receiving yards
If Pickens doesn’t lead the team in receiving and have a big performance, it’s hard to imagine the Steelers pulling off the upset. We think Pickens will targeted heavily by Kenny Pickett and end up with a monster game.
T.J. Watt gets 3 more sacks
Edge T.J. Watt was a monster in Week One with three sacks and this week against the Browns he has a repeat performance and becomes the Steelers franchise sack leader.
Steelers defense forces 3 turnovers
Pittsburgh steps up the aggression on defense and forces three turnovers including two interceptions of Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Steelers lose a heartbreaker
As much as it pains me to say it, I am predicting Pittsburgh starts the season 0-2 after a close loss to the Browns. I’m not convinced this team can right all that was wrong from last week’s performance in one week. This team is going to get better and play much better football this week but still come up short.
