Call the police if you see this man

A stalker is on the run from prison after breaching his licence conditions after being released.

Shane Nixon, 34, from Orrell Park, is wanted on recall to prison after he found to be in breach of his licence conditions. Nixon had just been released from prison after serving a sentence for stalking a person and causing rear of violence.

Merseyside Police describe Nixon as 5ft 8in tall, with a proportionate build, green eyes and short brown hair.

He has links to Litherland, Aintree, Bootle and Dovecot.

Police are now appealing for help from the public to find Nixon and are asking people to contact them via 101 if they see him.

A spokesperson from the force said: "If you see Nixon or hold any information, contact us via @MerPolCC on Twitter, ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook, or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 with reference 23000348664."
