Special drive to check illegal bajri mining underway in Jodhpur

JODHPUR: Illegal gravel (bajri) mining is continuing unabated in Jodhpur despite preventive and punitive measures by the mining department, police and administrative officials.

The hotbed for gravel mining in Jodhpur, Luni, is claimed to be under constant surveillance by joint enforcement teams but the mining mafia appears to be unbridled.
