LUCKNOW: CM Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday lashed out at previous SP governments of ruining the Bundelkhand region by handing over its resources and forests to mafia elements who “looted” them.
Addressing public meetings in Hamirpur and Mahoba, Yogi said that the previous BSP and SP governments took turns in looting the region. The BJP government, he said, undertook a slew of projects to end the water scarcity in the Bundelkhand region. “A lot was said and done in the name of ‘nalkoop’ and handpumps, but earlier governments did not disclose how water could be made available in the absence of groundwater,” he said.
