Soybeans Holding onto Wednesday Gains as USDA Hikes Production

USDA CmdtyView Oil WASDE

Soybeans are trading with gains of 7 to 8 cents on Wednesday after USDA’s first official crop estimate via Crop Production data. The cmdtyView national average Cash Bean price is up 7 1/4 cents at $11.34 1/2. Soymeal futures are $2.80 higher so far on Wednesday, with Soy Oil up 15 to 25 points.

Crop Production data from NASS this morning showed soybean yield for 2026 estimated at 52.7 bpa. Acreage was raised by 1.4 to 86.8 million acres on the planted side, with harvested acres tallied at 85.8 million acres. That took production to 4.519 bbu, which is 44 mbu larger compared to the WASDE projection from July.
