NEW DELHI: South African wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock expressed his belief that the Australian batting unit's difficulties against Indian spinners in their previous match was an unusual occurrence. De Kock pointed out that players like Steve Smith and David Warner have a strong track record of dominating slow bowlers, as evident in their performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
De Kock also mentioned that the selectors are contemplating the idea of strengthening the South African lineup by including wrist spinner Tabraiz Shamsi in the playing XI alongside Keshav Maharaj.
