This was the remarkable haul of booze, food and other items which police stumbled across after stopping a car in Tameside. Officers pulled over a silver Volkswagen Golf on Hyde Road, Denton, which was believed to be linked to shoplifting outside of Greater Manchester.
As they looked inside the car, police discovered a huge variety of items. Images shared by Greater Manchester Police show at least 14 packs of flatbreads and tortilla wraps were discovered in the haul, along with two tubes of Veet cream, two packs of socks and a number of Activia yoghurts.
Bin bags, mushy peas and a pack of Kellogg's Crunchy Nut cereal were also found, plus roll-on deodorant and a pack of underwear. But most of the items seized were bottles of alcohol.

GMP lined up dozens of bottles for an image shared online - with Moet, Jack Daniel's, Gordon's and Henderson's Gin, Jameson Irish whiskey, Smirnoff vodka, Bacardi and Captain Morgan rum all among the drinks found. The force says a total of £3,500-worth of goods were recovered from the car, with not all the items pictured.
Officers seized the items, along with the Volkswagen, while two people were arrested on suspicion of theft and going equipped to steal. A spokesperson for GMP Traffic wrote on Twitter this evening (May 24): "RPU officers stopped this VW Golf on Hyde Road this afternoon following a report of shoplifting from colleagues in another force area.
"Two arrested for theft and going equipped. The vehicle was seized and approximately £3.5k goods recovered (not all pictured)."
