SNP attack Andy Burnham over reported delay to defence spending plans

THE SNP have urged Andy Burnham to “wake up” and take urgent action rather than offer “jam tomorrow promises” as the Prime Minister reportedly considers delaying plans on a key policy pledge.

It comes after The Times reported that the Prime Minister is considering delaying an announcement on how and when the UK will increase defence spending to 3% of GDP.
