This is some sorcery right here, although we know that with a submarine pitcher like the San Francisco Giants’ Tyler Rogers, his pitches are going to do wild things.
We saw that on Monday, thanks to a video from @PitchingNinja. It’s two angles of a 74 MPH slider from Rogers, a pitch that just starts at the spikes and keeps rising … and rising … and rising, until Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Ketel Marte flails at it wildly and misses.
