“Sir you are yelling”, “so is the baby”: Video showing man yelling about a crying baby on the flight goes viral

A viral video, reportedly available on TikTok, is being circulated on social media. The video is of a passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight to Florida shouting at flight attendants and other passengers.

The reason? Because a baby was crying.

We are not unknown to the cries of babies on flights and public transport systems. Babies who are carried by their parents react to the change of ambience and are uncomfortable in the travel space. There is not an iota of involvement of the parents or the poor baby in agitating other passengers.

"The angry man, who is not identified in the clip, uses profanity more than 20 times toward Southwest crew and fellow passengers, to express his disgust at a crying baby," TODAY reported.

In the video, the flight attendant said “Sir, you’re yelling”, to which the man replied “so is the baby"

The video is now being circulated on Twitter and Instagram as well.

In the video we can hear the passenger using expletives repeatedly while the airline staff tried to pacify him.

As per reports, the baby was crying for 40 minutes in the flight.

It is also being reported that the man's shouting was so intense that the plane had to be diverted.

"Did he think causing a huge scene of him yelling would make the baby stop? Now baby even more upset. If I was on that plane, I’d be now more annoyed at the man than the baby," writes one Twitter user.

"Just saw a video about a man yelling cause a baby was crying a lot on a plane. So that’s my cue to go to bed or at least get off of the internet. I hope we can get people the skills to cope with stress and I’m saying this in all seriousness," writes another.
