Speaking about his new deal, Murray told Queen's Park official website: “I am delighted to extend my stay at the club.

"They have supported me since coming back and now I am looking forward to pre season and the challenge ahead.

"We have had great success in the last two years and now hopefully we can build on that. Thank you for all your support”

Boss Coyle added: “In the last part of the season, Simon has showed the important role in a team he can have.

"Not only with causing danger and scoring, but also his involvement in pressing is of a high quality.
