HOYLAKE: Shubhankar Sharma is unabashed about his love for the Open. He has enough reasons for it the oldest Major and that it's telecast was in sync with the time he returned from school when he was growing up.
Making the Open even more special was it usually came around the week of his birthday. This week Sharma will turn 27 on Friday, the second day of the 151st Open. He said, "This is my third Open. I am very, very grateful and thankful for yet another chance to play.
