Spring has sprung and fashion retailer Primark has jumped on the potential for changing weather patterns. Rolling out its spring dress collection, the fast fashion brand showcased a range of styles but some fans of the store were divided.
Taking to Instagram to promote the range, the retailer wrote: "3 of our fave floral dresses for Spring. Prices from £12/€14/$16 #Primark #SpringFashion". Alongside, a reel showed off some of the frocks available, which came in different styles, colours and lengths.
While some dresses in the collection start from £12, the highlighted clothes ranged from £14.00, according to the store's website. The reel styled a £14.00 blue floral print midi dress, which the retailer suggested would be "perfect" for a summer wedding or scenic stroll. A Broderie Anglaise tiered white mini dress, which also comes in pink, also took centre stage and is priced at £18.00. The third dress was a split hem floral midi dress priced on the Primark website at £18.00.

Many shoppers loved the fresh new styles, with one person saying, "summer dresses are so cute", another added: "Love the dress", and a third said: "Beautiful". Someone else clearly couldn't decided which they liked best, saying: "I've all 3, ready for holiday".
However, others questioned the timing of the new line. "It's still rainy and cold though", said one person. Primark replied: "At least we can look good in the rain until the comes back." While another shopper was distracted by a feature in the video: "Not a fan of the pulling of flowers out of the dresses!" complained one Instagram user.
Floral dresses are being showcased by other retailers too. Pretty Little Thing has a range of spring styles including a £15.00 Black Ditsy Floral detail maxi dress while over a Boohoo a cute floral lace up skater dress in yellow is selling at £15.00. New Look, which has Nottingham stores, has a pretty Cameo Rose Yellow Floral Shirred Bardot Mini Dress at £25.99.
