Shoppers bid for sell-out Greggs Primark trainers on Ebay for double the price

Greggs teamed up with high street favourite Primark this weekend for the launch of their brand new clothing line, but it didn’t last long in some stores.

The limited-edition range arrived on Saturday February 19, featuring 11 different pieces in the quirky collection.

Prices of the items start from £7, including a selection of T-Shirts, a full black tracksuit, a grey sweatshirt, hoodie and more.

Shoppers who prefer a shoe shop had the choice of either Greggs sliders for £8, or a pair of trainers for £16.

The collection proved extremely popular at the weekend and sold out in minutes in some stores, leaving many shoppers empty handed.

One shopper on Twitter said: “Primark sold out of Greggs stuff before I got any” with a crying emoji.

Another said: “They had advertised only 60 stores would have it. I went to the Reading store which opens at 09:00 and most sold out by 09:30”

Those lucky enough to get their hands on products have even started selling them on Ebay for double the price. In one Ebay listing , the £16 Greggs Primark trainers are being sold for £49.95.

Another listing is open to bids and is currently priced at £32 with 12 bids so far in total.

The £16 Greggs Primark hoodie is currently being sold on Ebay for £41.95 or best offer, and six people have already added it to their watch list.

Although the limited edition range hasn’t yet sold out in all 60 stores, some shoppers are still finding it difficult to get their hands on the collab.

You can view the Greggs Primark listings on Ebay here , but be warned, there are some rather extortionate prices.
