Shola Shoretire grabbed a quick-fire brace deep into stoppage time to somehow salvage a point for Manchester United Under-21s in their Premier League 2 clash with Chelsea on Saturday afternoon at Kingsmeadow.
The attacker reduced the deficit to 3-2 five minutes into added time before finding the net again just 30 seconds later to stun Chelsea. Isak Hansen-Aaroen had grabbed the opening goal of the game to put the visitors 1-0 ahead on 26 minutes.
But efforts from Lewis Hall and Casare Casadei had put Chelsea ahead 13 minutes after the break before Jude Soonsup-Bell struck a third with eight minutes to go.

Casadei was sent off in the final minute when he received a second yellow for a high foot and United used their extra man’s advantage to punish Chelsea to prevent a fourth loss of the season.
Player-coach Tom Huddleston - who joined the club in August - made an appearance aged 35, replacing Toby Collyer on 72 minutes to add experience to youth. Charlie Savage captained the side, which included Marc Jurado and Kobbie Mainoo with Charlie McNeill coming on just after half-time.
United’s Under-21s are enduring a rough season, currently third bottom of Premier League 2 having failed to win a single game in nine attempts. They sit on six points having lost three with only Tottenham and West Ham below them.
United host Wolves next week before a crunch match against Spurs the following weekend. Then comes the small matter of the derby against champions Manchester City, who have lost just once in eight matches, to kick off November.
