Manchester United's Shola Shoretire has admitted 'it was a dream' to make his senior debut last year.
Shoretire made his United debut in February last year against Newcastle. The youngster then played against Real Sociedad from off the bench in the Europa League just four days later and that appearance wrote him in the club's history books.
When Shoretire came on as the final substitute against Sociedad at Old Trafford, he made United history by becoming the youngest player to appear for the club in European competition — he was just 17 years and 23 days old.

Shoretire played for United's first team against BSC Young Boys this campaign, but he's played the majority of his football in the academy, as expected. Shoretire is at a crucial stage of his development after turning 18 earlier this year.
However, the forward has now reflected on making his debut, in what was certainly a memorable week for the player and his family.
"It was a dream come true," Shoretire told Versus.
"It’s something I have dreamed about ever since I started playing football. There is a big difference between academy football and first team football. There were nerves but I feel like the players and manager really helped me through that experience.
"They made me feel welcomed and looked after me. It was a very proud moment for me. Everyone has their own pathway but at United, we have a lot of ex-players as coaching staff and they understand the game very well.
"They know it’s not about rushing. It’s about being patient. Seeing the academy players go to the first team happens a lot at a club like this, and it’s now considered normal. Each player that makes it through, motivates the next generation of players.
"That then becomes the ambition to motivate those coming after us."
