Shah Rukh Khan’s Josh co-star Chandrachur Singh found himself in the spotlight for an unexpected reason after a demolition drive in Gurugram's DLF area led to the removal of a ramp outside his residence. The actor stepped out of his home to speak with officials as the bulldozer operation was underway, and a video of the interaction has since gone viral on social media.

What caught many people's attention was not the demolition itself, but the actor's calm and courteous conversation with the authorities. The anti-encroachment drive was carried out by the Town and Country Planning Department as part of an effort to remove structures allegedly built in violation of building regulations.

Why the ramp outside Chandrachur Singh's house was removed

According to ETimes, officials conducting the demolition drive stated that the ramp outside Chandrachur Singh's home had been constructed without the required permissions.

The operation was part of a larger crackdown on unauthorised constructions across the DLF neighbourhood in Gurugram. Several structures were reportedly demolished during the drive for violating building norms.

The ramp outside the actor's residence was among the structures removed by authorities.

Actor walks out to speak with officials

As the demolition work continued, Chandrachur Singh came outside and engaged in a conversation with officials present at the site.

The actor reportedly asked whether any action would be taken inside his property and informed officials that his father had purchased the house in 1991.

He also questioned the removal of the ramp but maintained a composed and respectful tone throughout the interaction.

The video of the exchange has gained traction online, with many social media users highlighting the polite manner in which both sides handled the situation.
