The publication listed the country's top 15 locations with Bristol in the South West of England taking the top spot for its "combination of picture-perfect streets, a bustling nightlife scene and its cultural offering."
Speaking of the new list, Time Out Features Editor, Chiara Wilkinson, said: “We’re over the moon to share our Time Out list of the best places to visit in the UK in 2024.

The towns of Ullapool in the western Highlands and St Andrews in Fife were the two Scottish locations to be revealed as among the UK's best to visit by Time Out.
Described as a "coastal gem in the Kingdom of Fife," St Andrews was placed number six on the list.
The town was praised for being "extremely walkable" and for its "peaceful" atmosphere with the website recommending a visit in July, when most students from the town's ancient university have cleared for the summer holidays.
Speaking of Ullapool, the Highland village was said to be "well situated for walkers and cyclists to get their dose of the great outdoors."
Visitors were recommended to visit the nearby Corrieshalloch Falls and climb the Stac Pollaidh mountain.
Time Out added that the village is "going under something of a cultural renaissance" with Scotland's most remote club night bringing up-and-coming DJs to the area.
The next Baile/Baile club night takes place on February 3 and March 2, making these dates the best time to visit for music lovers.
