The Southeastern Conference has announced the postponement of the highly anticipated women's basketball game between No. 5 LSU and No. 2 South Carolina. The game, originally scheduled for Thursday night in Columbia, South Carolina, has been rescheduled to Friday due to winter weather conditions.
This decision comes in the aftermath of Winter Storm Enzo, which brought approximately a foot of snow to parts of south Louisiana. The inclement weather has created hazardous travel conditions in subtropical regions that lack the necessary snow-clearing equipment for roads and airports.
