A search for a missing Dublin man has been stood down after the discovery of human remains.
John Courtney went missing from his home in Donnybrook, Dublin 4 on April 26.
The 64-year-old was described as being 6 foot in height with a slim build.

He has short brown hair and a greying beard.
A garda spokesperson said: “Following the discovery of human remains on the Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4 on 20th June 2022 and subsequent DNA analysis by Forensic Science Ireland, the missing person appeal for John Courtney has been stood down.
“John went missing from Donnybrook, Dublin 4 on Tuesday, 26th April 2022.
“An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter. No further action is required.”
